500 SKULLS

December 2023:
According to the WHO, a child dies on average every 10 minutes in Gaza.
To get an idea of this abstract figure, I tried to make a monoprint of a child's skull every 10 minutes - it was simply not possible for me to comply.
I ended up printing 500 images - that at least gives a vague impression of the quantity, which is only a fraction of the full extent. And it continues.
