David Clarke writes about PEARS IN THE AFTERNOON: This faintly dark and enigmatic series of images is beautifully atmospheric and remind me of the work of Sarah Moon; one of my favourite photographic artists. The use of wet plate expertly adds another layer of complexity and links all the images together perfectly. As well as an innate beauty, I find most of the images to have a very slight undertone of menace which makes the series even more interesting. The work is delicately executed by someone who I am not surprised is a former painter.
